Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church was the first Lutheran church in Vermont in the modern era. We began in 1981 when Don Laitinen placed an ad in the newspaper looking for any Lutherans who wanted to form a church.
We are part of the Wisconsin Synod--a group of like-minded churches formed outside Milwaukee, WI in the 1850's who work together (what synod means) to start new churches, do overseas mission work and other work that we cannot do as well as a local congregation.
We welcome you to learn more about us as we head into a new era of our existence. You can find out more about us here. You can contact us by phone or email. Or simply come to visit us on a Sunday Morning.
In the future, watch for chance to view the previous Sunday's message from this page, online Bible study opportunities, and news about the church.
Christ the Redeemer exists for educating people in the Word of God (Mt 28:19-20). We share the grace and peace of Christ (Eph 2:8 John 14:1-4) so everyone can know the hope in Christ (Jer 29:11).
